Simtex rPET needle-punched non-woven fabric.

Simtex is Shakti Group's own brand of needle-punched non-woven fabric, produced on a dedicated needling line at our sixth plant in Kanpur. The fabric is made from recycled PET (rPET) fibre using a purely mechanical process — barbed needles entangle a loose fibre web into a cohesive structure with no adhesives, no binders, and no chemical treatment.

The result is dimensionally stable, consistently lofted across its full width, and unaffected by the chemical interactions that adhesive or thermally bonded non-wovens introduce downstream. We customise to your specification — GSM, thickness, and construction are all built to the requirement of your application rather than picked from a fixed range.

Available pre-laminated to a face fabric where required, since our needling and lamination lines share the same site.
