Compression-moulded insocks in PU foam and EVA, with top-cover options.
A moulded insock is an anatomically contoured footbed — shaped under heat and pressure in a compression mould to match the internal geometry of a shoe last. Unlike a flat-cut insole blank, a moulded insock is a three-dimensional component: arch support, heel cup, and forefoot profile are built into the mould, producing a footbed that fits the shoe and the foot rather than sitting flat inside it.
Shakti Group produces insocks in PU foam and EVA across a range of density and hardness profiles. Dual-density constructions — heel and forefoot moulded from materials with different Shore A values — allow us to build specific cushioning and support characteristics into a single component. Top-cover lamination is completed within the moulding step, so cover and base form a single integrated component.
For safety footwear, insocks are produced to meet anti-static and ESD requirements, with construction compatibility verified against steel toe box and composite midsole assemblies.
